Designing Propulsion Solutions for Air and Space
At MESO Space, we design the next generation of advanced propulsion systems for air, space, and beyond. Our breakthrough propellant, the Marshall Enriched Storable Oxidizer (MESO), enables faster, cleaner, and more versatile transportation across multiple environments.
Developing the Revolutionary MESO Propellant Solution
Marshall Enriched Storable Oxidizer (MESO)
Our solution of nitrous oxide with nitrogen tetroxide offers performance comparable to LOX.
Multimode Propulsion
MESO enables engines to operate in multiple modes, optimizing efficiency for diverse missions.
Sustainable & Intelligent
We integrate MESO into environmentally conscious, advanced systems designed for next-generation vehicles.
My Personal Journey Toward Propulsion Innovation
I’m Roger Herdy, Founder and CEO of MESO Space. Inspired by the moon landing as a child, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Not having perfect eyesight closed that path, so I pursued aerospace systems testing instead. Working with rockets and jet engines, I've pushed the boundaries of propulsion technology and collaborated with many inspiring scientists. Let’s work together!!
Testing Propulsion in Hypersonic Environments
Hypersonic Tunnel Testing
Using the HySETT program, we are creating hypersonic conditions and long run time via decomposition of nitrous oxide. We have run a dual mode ram jet on this synthetic air, and plan to research the impact the propellant MESO can make on a new engine design
Dual Mode Ram Jet Testing
We’ve powered a dual mode ram jet on synthetic air and plan to test one with MESO!
Collaboration & Research
Through MESO Space, We’ve worked with government agencies and engineers worldwide to refine air-breathing propulsion systems.
